In the past i’ve only passed this town driving to Malang from Jakarta. This town that is famous for the UKSW university. on this trip I took a Garuda flight to Semarang and headed off to Salatiga by taxi.

Sekarang bermodalkan modem nemu dan kartu perdana Fren Prabayar seharga Rp. 15.000,- saya berharap bisa Internetan 😀
Setelah modem dicolokin saya check apakah devicenya dikenal dari perintah dmesg ternyata ada output

To get Ubuntu up and running is pretty simple, all you need to do is install as usual.
Wireless is automatically detected, still you might need to enable it from System » Administration » Restricted Drivers Manager.

Akhirnya kesampaian juga upgrade server, sekarang “ungu.bigwisu.com” sudah retired. digantikan oleh sebuah Virtual Machine “merah.bigwisu.com”.
Server ini jalan diatas Virtual Infrastructure. sebuah mesin AMD Athlon 64Bit dengan RAM 2GB HDD 2x 80GB. secara resource mesin ini sangatlah berlebih.
Jadi jika anda butuh sebuah dedicated server, mungkin anda bisa mencoba sebuah Virtual Machine yang jalan di server saya. tentunya dengan harga yang menarik. 😀

Wow.. alot has been happening this past week. And I simply could not resist to talk about.
First a greet.
During my 3 day trip to Surabaya, I was greeted by a new and very much improved Juanda Airport. The thought of landing in the wrong Airport had crossed my mind. And I was not all wrong, turns out that the New Terminal, opened 2 weeks before, shifted to a new location on the opposite side of the runway from the Old terminal.
Sudah beberapa lama notebook Toshiba Satellite M35 saya menggunakan Compiz + XGL, beruntung Graphic adapter-nya menggunakan chipset nVidia sehingga banyak panduan di Internet tentang proses instalasinya.
Beberapa waktu yang lalu saya tertarik untuk upgrade ke fork Compiz + XGL yaitu Compiz-QuinnStorm tapi saya tidak pernah menemukan waktu luang untuk melakukannya. Sampai pada thread di mailing list tanya-jawab linux.or.id, tentang fork ini yang telah berubah nama menjadi Beryl. Setelah bertanya pada google tentang Beryl, sampailah saya di panduan menginstal berikut, beryl project wiki , dengan mudah upgrade saya lakukan terhadap instalasi Ubuntu Dapper Drake saya.
